Honeycomb, a project located in the San Roberto private school in San Pedro Garza García, is a carpentry structure which was inspired by nature, more specifically in the hexagonal tessellation that makes up the honeycomb. After analyzing it, we separated each cell from the honeycomb to create a space where the children could sit and store their things. The use of figures that can be found in nature helps connect children in an indirect way with the environment. The main material that was used for the carpentry of the project was striped oak wood.
